So there's this guy that I like and a while ago he offered me a ride home multiple times. I'm a shy person so I said no the first few times but one day when I had to walk home and it was really cold, he pulled over when he saw it was me and offered me a ride and I said yes. We made normal, awkward small talk in his car until he dropped me off. It wasn't like I was out of his way or anything, my house was actually on his way to go pick his brother up. We're not even that good of friends we actually hadn't spoken to each other very often except for in Pep Band (we play the same instrument).
After that I got a ride home from him almost every day for about two weeks until we both got into sports and it didn't really work out...
And there was also this one time after a basketball game where I was calling my mom to pick me up and my phone died before I could reach her. He waited with me the entire time outside until I was done and then asked me if I needed a ride again which I thankfully accepted...
What I'm wondering is if he was just being polite or if guys really would only drive a girl home so often only if they liked her...
