I'm having trouble connecting my phone to various wifi networks...I can connect fine to most home wifi connections but with public ones, or my work service, i keep being asked to log in (with my work logon details, for example) but this never gets me anywhere - it doesn't tell me that I've entered details wrong or anything like that, but the phone just seems incapable of hooking up to the network.
As far as the email app goes (in the "go to" menu), this is great when I'm at home and connect to my wireless, but again, that's the only place I can use my emails, because even if i'm out in public, in a wifi hotspot, the phone just won't connect to most wireless networks, and so I can't ever access emails away from home.

Is this just an unfortunate but recognised feature of htis phone, or is there some technical problem that I could get resolved?
