I am posting this for a friend......."I almost cried when I had to replace my XP VPR Matrix machine.I ended up with a Gateway vista 64 which was sooooo much slower than my tweaked out xp. I have recently gotten a win7 laptop and I can't stand it.. The whole libraries thing freaks me out.. I am getting a bit better with them but can't see the real use of them myself.. I can't ever seem to find anything. It takes me twice as long to do anything. I like a pull out sidebar with all my desktop and quicklaunch and other assorted folder icons on it.. So my desk top looks nice neat and clean until I want to see the programs... Can't do it in win7. When I try making a makeshift one I lose the entire taskbar which ticks me off too... Especially the loss of the clock. I have trouble remembering the names of all the programs I use to type them in the start box.. very frustrating..."
