Our political leaders discusses indian issues with foreign diplomats.

Our indian people did not give much importance to our indian scholars but praising the foreign scholars so much.

Our indian people forgetting our traditions and cultures and following the foreign traditions/cultures after a short visit or after returning from a foreign country.

While we have so much treasures and heritages, our people show much interest on foreign countries.

Whever on discussions or talkings, it is usual they say '' see japan, see America '' and why not they see our own country?

why this ?

How many of us Indians are aware of the rich cultural and other trditional treasures which are abandunt in India that other nations lack and envy us ?

I will put the figure as hardly 1% of the population.

why this deplorable situation?

The problem starts with school curriculum. We are just not taught in the schools. Then how are we supposed to know really valuable but largely neglected Indian traditions and cultures and wisdom which are priceless.

Since it is not taught to the coming generations the arts and cultures are losing their glory and their importance as well. So the youngsters start believing that India is backward and we have to learn anything and everything from other countries. India is good for nothing sort of.

Why this state of affairs on the education front and the resultant inferiority complex ?

This inferiority complex can be traced to the colonial periods. They were sceintifically progressed which was considered superior. Our people were sold out and became slaves. The slavery continues till today but in different dimension. We have based our education oriented with the British academics. That has transformed our cultural outlook and culture as well.

Solution

Teach vedic science and other traditional arts in schools as compulsory subject atleast for one hour a day. Things will turn around gradually
