so, I was supposed to go on my first date today after spending ages deciding whether to go or not i finally said yes, then this morning, a few hours before he was coming to pick me up (he had gone home and was coming back here especially. it takes about 1 hour) he text me saying really sorry but I can't make it today :(. I replied aw ok how come? and his reply was

Basically it's because i quite like you and I don't want to go on one date you then go away for 3 months! lol i'd rather wait till im back so we could have more than 1!!

He's off to America for 3 months. What do you think? do you agree? do you believe him? or do you think he wants to be single in America? what do you think I should do?
