Well its because I would like to get rid of my native accent - a mix of heavy monotone french and boring filipino accent... I was thinking of learning Aussie. what do you think?

And how long does it sink in? I had a friend who trained himself to develop a southern british accent for 2 years and he sounds really native. Also this other guy who didnt want to learn accents went to australia for about 10 months and went back to france with a really heavy aussie accent.
