Since its an anniversary of your parants, so you should look little gentle and cool sort of guy.
You can try a combination of dark blue jeans & white shirt (only a full sleeves plain white shirt) with a black blazer. Don't try a suit or something which make u uncomfortable or make u look like a mature man.
