So I met this guy about 2 months ago. He asked for my number at a party and contacted me the next day. We have been seeing eachother since. He texts me first and sometimes I text him first. We have been to the cinema on a date, out for drinks, to his house and to a birthday party of a mutual friend.

The problem is he is quite secretive with his feelings. He rarely lets me know what he is thinking. I would love to be his girlfriend but I would never suggest it as it may seem desperate or needy on my part.

He shows all the signs that he likes me, keeps eye contact, listens to what I say, asks me lots of questions, smiles at me when Im talking, introduces me to all his friends when we are out, looks at me when he is in conversation with his friends. However, it seems like he will never ask me to be his girlfriend :(

Am I wasting my time, I'm so used to being let down.

Any advice would be great!

to me it sounds like you're boyfriend and girlfriend if you date and kiss and spend that much time together:)

don't worry that there's no label put on the relationship, because as you said he keeps his feelings to himself so he's probably just scared he'll mess it up or something.

just wait and i'm sure it'll turn into a proper relationship, this extra time is giving you time to get to know him, so don't waste it:) you'll be his girlfriend soon if you just carry on as you are.
