My Cat sheds all the time and my parents complain constantly. They tell me we will have to give her away but I'm not going to let that happen. Please Help!

All cats shed, but regular grooming can keep the amount down to a minimum.

If your cat is short haired, a flea comb is great in removing loose fur. If a longer haired cat, then a pin brush, which has prongs on one side, which is great to remove undercoat, and the brush side to remove surface fur.

Often when you start, it seems to get worse, but soon levels out. If you have a very young cat, she will take the comb or brush as a toy, and swat at it. But she will soon come to appreciate the attention.
