He was MY Father, and everything else about him was the best. I was blessed with a good, dependable, godly dad. Not perfect but the best. He cared how we turned out in life. He was built with a great strength, both physically [5' 6" and would have given any football blocker something to think about] and inwardly. His strength of character was a bigger asset than his outward strength. Yet he was gentle with an ever-present twinkle in his eye. We never heard an obcenity from his lips, nor saw him lose his temper. he is in heaven but his example is ever present.
