Everyone who's ever played uncharted 2 seems to think its the most amazing game, and nearly every review/customer review ive seen is 5 stars...
Ive never played it before, so what is so amazing about it? I've seen gameplay footage of the 2nd and the upcoming 3rd game, but it just seems to be a third person shooter with jumping around buildings.
So will the third one be worth getting? I know nothing about the series, so i just wanna know a bit more about it - not the storyline, but why its so brilliant? (i know its about a treasure hunter) thanks

The story is really great, it's mysterious (like finding a German U-Boat in the Amazon [Uncharted 1]), the gameplay is fun, the graphics are nice. Really that's about it.

The best way I can describe it is a modern Indiana Jones.

Rent it to see if you like it. I think the 3rd one will be worth getting for sure, if you're gonna get it, play through all of them first, it makes more sense that way, I wouldn't recommend going back to the first after playing the second, as you'll notice all the little annoyances that we're corrected in Uncharted 2.
