I could genuinely use some advice.

Here's the story as short as I can make it: met a girl a few months ago and became fast friends. Been talking with her every day and met with her a lot--as friends. I was content being friends. I was more than happy to be her counsel. She is my best female friend.

But in the last few weeks, something occurred to me: she's everything I want in a woman. She's smart, she's hilarious, kind, caring, and beautiful. What more could a guy possibly ask for?

Here's the dilemma:

She's out of the country for a year--study abroad.
Her crush, which she refused to act on this year, will be with her during the study abroad program.
I don't want to screw up our friendship; I want to continue being the good friend she desperately needed.

I still talk to her every day; and my day isn't complete until I have a smile from talking to her.

Hahaha...Wow every guy seems to go thought this at least once.
Relax man,just hope nothing happens between her and that villain in your story(that's the only thing you can do)
I mean you cannot actually tell her not to go with him,if you tell her not to be around this guy then she'll tell you "Mind your own business".And then you will be hurt like anything.For now,Just Hope that they break up,or he rejects her.Be friends with her,don't tell her that you like her(as for now)because that can screw up things for you.Don't be in a hurry to get her(Or you'll regret it).If she is for you then she will suerly be yours.Be friends with her and stay with her,support her.Don't act possesive or stupid in front of her.
For now your can only pray to God and wish for the best.
