I have had the sime 3 for over 2 years now and it has worked perfectly fine up until the other day when i updated it with EA Downloader (not sure if that is the problem but it seems to be for most others) and now it comes up with an Error Message Saying: "Sims3Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are worry for the inconvenience." And has the Error report options etc.
So i googled it and people say to open it with TS3.exe in the sim bin, Which doesnt work for me, it just does nothing.

I have No custom Content, My Pc has all the requirements and i would perfer not to uninstall it because i have a really big family i have gotten really far with and have been playing them for like 1 1/2 Years. =[

Please help me!!!

Try to uninstall the game, when you do so, it will ask you if you want to keep the save games or not choose to keep them, then continue uninstalling & re-installing the game
If you don't trust that, you can always back up your save games
