the formula for surface are SA=2[lower limit of x1 and upper limit of x2] f(x) sqrt(1+[f ' (x)]^2),
and the symmetry of the graph of an ellipse with a=3 and b=2,
show that surface are can be expressed as SA = 4b/a^2 [lower limit of 0 and upper limit of a] sqrt(a^4-(a^2-b^2)x^2)dx
