Statistics Help - What Is The 95% Confidence Interval Of...?
the slope of the true least-squares regression line AND the mean value of y? Given that y = 0.449x - 30.27, x = 95 degrees (for the 2nd question), and the data below are the temperatures on randomly chosen days during a summer class and the number of absences on those days:
(temperature x, # of absences y): (72, 3), (85, 7), (91, 10), (90, 10), (88, 8), (98, 15), (75, 4), (100, 15), (80, 5). I'd like the answers...not just the method. Thanks!
Answer choices for slope: A) (0.367, 0.530); B) (-1.760, 2.658); C)(0.385, 0.513); D) (0.371, 0.527).
Answer choices for mean value of Y: A) (11.378, 13.392); B) (4.321, 6.913); C) (9.957, 14.813); D) (6.345, 8.912).
