I hope someone understands what I mean by this.

On a Sony Vaio PC, there's this drop down navigation bar at the top of the screen with quicklinks in and stuff. It had an error and went white about an hour ago, so I restarted and it wasn't there. I needed to do a backup anyway, so I did a system restore to try and get it back and so my system was it's optimum. However, even after the restore, the bar's not there still.
