So the thing is that I really want to do AP Physics C next year. But, I have not done calculus before. I am taking a summer calculus course which basically covers AP Calculus BC (In reality, it is two separate one and a half month courses: calculus I and calculus II in my local community college) material in three months. It covers ALL the info. The class started last week and will end in mid August, and I am catching on really fast! But I still have some doubts taking AP Physics C because I feel like I never really took a full year of calculus before. This brings me to my second question: How hard is the MATH in AP Physics C? Is it comparable to AP Calculus? Easier or Harder than AP Calculus? Will I be prepared for it by the time my summer course ends?
Follow the link to see exactly what is covered in each course:
Calculus I: http://www.raritanval.edu/uploadedFiles/… course content starts in the middle of page 2)
Calculus II: http://www.raritanval.edu/uploadedFiles/… content is on page 2)
So yeah...will I be prepared for AP Physics C?
Another thing...how much daily homework? How hard is the class, the tests, and the homework?
I am also in these AP classes next year:
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
So how much work for each of these courses should I expect? How hard are they? Are they managable? If I was to drop one class, it would be AP Statistics...so would you recommend me to drop the class or not?
So yeah I know I just asked a lot of questions, but I am really worried about next year. I haver had 4 APs before. The maximum I had was 1 AP and that was AP Biology. (BTW, AP Bio is regarded as the toughest course the school offers in my school, and is also known to give the most amount of work and I passed with an A-, and I was in honors precalc and honors chemistry and AP biology in the same year...got As in all of them). So yea, just letting you know my background, and what kind of student I am.

go for it, but you're gonna be going through a hell of a lot of math next year.
