I met my classmate in a summer class at college few weeks ago and we get along pretty well.
He seems very nice and well-mannered.

So he told me today that he has a best friend that I might like because I remind of his best friend and I seem kind and sweet, and his friend is a nice guy so he wants to set us up. I said it was uncomfortable for me and he suggested a double date. He said he already let his friend know and he was fine with it so I told my classmate that I'll think about it.

My situation is like this:
1. I was just informed about this today.
2. I don't really know much about my classmate or his girlfriend.
3. I don't know my classmate's best friend AT ALL like, I dont even know how this guy looks like!

Do you think this double date thing is going to work out?
Please give some advice.. a genuine one would be greatly appreciated.

Oh btw, we are all 18 years old if that info really matters.
