Him and I recently told each other we like one another but:

-he usually takes hours to respond to a text
-he adds dozens of random girls on facebook
-he recently posted "text it I need new contacts"
-he's also posted he found love pathetic (when I asked him he said he didn't like the drama)
-when we talk in person he usually looks away and doesn't look me in the eyes ever.

I know we are not anything for me to get jealous about but he is not straight up w/ me should I just forget him?

A few problems....
-he's my prom date
-he and I are good friends
-he is honestly a great guy who wouldn't play a girl or cheat
-he's hot n cold all the time

You can remain friends with him but I wouldnt expect anything else so if you are asking me if you should give up on him as a potential bf, I would say yes. Let him come to you; if he likes you he will. I recently gave up on a guy that I like because I cant stand feeling a one way relationship. I know I can make some guy very happy so Ive moved on.
