I don't hate rich people, but I do want the wealthy to, at a minimum, pay their fair share. Why should the working poor pay more than the wealthy? Is that right? Did you know that GE made billions in profits last year and paid NO taxes? None! And yet, our government gave them about a half billion dollars! There is something very wrong with a system that allows corporations to continually suck the American taxpayers dry while shipping jobs overseas.

P.S. How do you propose the poor go to school if we cut government grants and programs? Do you have any idea how expensive it is to go to school? Your kind of logic does not help people get a leg up in society. And you assume that all poor people are just lazy. Poor people are poor often because they do not have opportunities to earn a living wage or because they cannot find a job because so many jobs have been shipped overseas. Why do you hate the poor so much?
