And I don't want one of those people who go "OOh, it's pretty and it can play my favorite game on!" or "It's amazing [100 pros] oh but it has a short battery life."

I want a proper, detailed answer.

I know what your probably thinking with the 3DS. Short Battery Life and Lack of titles. Thats exactly what I thought too. I thought the 3D was going to be horrible and so was the battery life. Well I played one and loved it. I think that it is the single greatest portable system.

Pros: 3D - The 3D really is great. Makes gaming better and it can draw you into the game more. But as this is a huge Pro being the point of the system it's also a flaw. Some people love the 3D (as do I) but others find it hurts there eyes or that they don't notice it till they mess it up. So my advice is to try one first. If you don't like the 3D you will be unhappy.

Gaming - Well duh its a gaming system but the gaming is MUCH different on the 3DS that the other DS devices. The 3DS has the analog stick giving running around maps and levels more feel than the D-pad in a 3D layout environment. The gaming feels a whole lot more complete with the joystick.

AR Cards: This adds a whole other world to gaming these are simply one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. The mini games on them are crazy and they are also very fun.

Cons: AR Cards: These are not a Con however there should be more games with the AR Cards. They need to expand on this technology because it is very good.

Hardware Design: The bottom screen does have a huge Con. Scratching. The bottom screen is built with the case up above it. (hard to explain) But in short it scratches the top screen. Idk why Nintendo didn't think to fix that before final release but a fix to it would be a screen protector.

Other than that the battery life really isn't that bad. It's just as good as the DSi. Hope this is good enough for you.
