My interpretation was that any woman/man who asked for expensive items from a wealthy man/woman.

Is a "gold digger" also someone who accepts those items as a gift?

Seriously...just asking...no one gives me or has EVER given me anything...gifts or otherwise.

A Gold digger for me is either a male/female/gay/straight/bi just *someone* who hangs out with or sometimes marries *someone* Wealthy/Rich etc... not because he/she loves this person or his company but because they love the money, luxury and sometimes fame that comes with it.

You see Gold Diggers very often with Celebrities and even more often with Old Rich Wealthy men. I mean, not to be judgmental but those very young and beautiful women who marries men as old as their grandfather is probably in most cases gold diggers.

Hmm, I wouldn't call someone who asks directly for expensive sh*t a typical Gold Digger. He/She is still considered one no doubt if he/she is only interested in the material things but they would be a rare example of Honest Gold Diggers most Gold Diggers I believe or think wouldn't admit that they are only in it for the money.

That is from my prospective. The word may have other meanings.

Well, If they don't give you gifts then screw them ! Most of the time, materials are only fellers what matters is how they truly feel about you I know it sounds cliche but it's true.
