The first one can eat 100 in 30 seconds. You can determine that he eats 10/3 per sec by dividing 100/30. The second one eats half as many in twice the time which is 50 per 60 seconds. Again divide 50/60 to get 5/6 per second. Add the two together 10/3+5/6 or 20/6+5/6=25/6 per second. Multiply that by the 15 seconds and get 25/6*15=62.5
