MY MATH PROBLEM: I want to fill this container with sand, how many bags should I buy?(50 #) Bag covers 1/2 Cu ft, my container is 39 1/2 " x 20 1/4 " x 7 ".... GO!! (I'm busy taking care of my 2 year old and my 6 month old...I cant even hear my own thoughts lol thanks!!

convert the container dimensions to feet

3.292 x 1.688 x .583

compute the volume in ft³

= 3.240 ft³

divide by the bag that fills .5 ft³
you need 3.240/.5 = 7 bags
