I have a question in math, i know that the equation for the number of sides in interior angles is 180(n-2) and exterior is 360/n. But i dont know how to use these to find
a.how to find the number of sides in a regular polygon with an interior angle of 132 deg.
b.the number of sides of a regular polygon if the sum of the interior angles is 9,000.

for A I made my equation look like this: 132n=180(n-2) and i got 7.5 in the end but im not sure if thats correct. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

a) Your method is correct. The answer is there CANNOT be a regular convex polygon whose internal angle is 132 degree.

b) (9000/n)*n=180(n-2)

9000=180(n-2)

50 = n - 2

n = 52

b) Explanation: It is a regular polygon so all interior angles must be equal. Since the sum of all interior angles is 9000 so divide it with the number of sides to get the value of each interior angle.

c) Sum of all interior angles of a regular 13-gon = 180(13-2) = 180*11 degree (The term "regular" is very important, it means all sides are equal)

So each interior angle = 180*11/13 = 152.3 degrees

Edit:

Why do you think I should multiply with "2"? That 2 in (n - 2) is inside bracket. It doesn't come into picture while dividing both sides with 180.
