3 Vw x t = 120

Vp(t-1) = Vw x t
and 1
Vp (t-1) = (Vp -6)t
Vpt - Vp = Vpt - 6t
Vp = 6t

replace in 2
6t(t - 1) = 120
t(t-1) = 20
t² - t - 20 = 0
Solve the equation and t = 5 hours

How fast
Wendy : 5Vw = 120 then Vw = 24 km/h
Peter : 4Vp = 120 then Vp = 30km/h
