I ordered an HTC Droid Incredible 2 from Amazon Wireless. When I received the package there is the box containing the cellphone but there is no cellphone and battery in it. I contacted Amazon Wireless and they told me to file a loss or stolen cellphone report with the police. I went to the police and they said that I am not within city limit so it is outside of their jurisdiction. They said I should contact the sheriff department. I contacted the sheriff department and they also said that it is outside of their jurisdiction because the cellphone might have been loss or stolen while in transit. The sheriff department told me to contact the USPS. I filed an investigation with the USPS and contacted Amazon Wireless again. They said I still have to get a police report. What should I do and how will I get a police report?
