I have had a very good friend for 10 years. However, she is prone to mood fluctuations, one day she will talk the next day she won't. She can be great at times but lately it has been an emotional rollercoaster of ups and downs. I work with her so it can be difficult at times if there is conflict between us. I have been a supportive friend, she can be incredibly negative which is most of the time, and i am finding that this is impacting on me. I have had recent difficulties in my life which has taken me a long time to get on top of. I find her negativity drags me down again. A turning point came when she completely ignored me when i said goodbye to her, it was humilating and as this was not a one time occurence. I finally found the courage to send her a text message on my way home telling her how her behaviour hurt me. She has been unable to recover from this and I feel is still holding a grudge. There has been a widening distance between us, despite my efforts to breach this gap. I am not sure what is going on, but im not sure i can do anymore than i have to make things right.
