It's okay if I get piercings right?

I want to tell my mom that it's okay for me to get piercings because Jesus had them, but she's not Christian.

I say, "Mom, but Jesus had piercings. Four of them. And studs, not rings."
And she tells me I'm am grounded because she isn't Christian.

What do I do?
