but there is such a thing as NOT SAYING IT ENOUGH!

I think it's dependent upon how the receiver of your words feels about it--for me, I'd probably get a little tired of someone telling me they love me 1000 times a day [kinda like, "OK! I KNOW you love me!"].

I guess for me the phrase begins to loose meaning the more frequently you use it. Reserve it for when you *really* mean it.

Also, I'm a huge fan of showing people that i love them indirectly--so, instead of explicitly saying "I love you," I might cook a nice dinner, straighten the house, etc when the person i love comes home after long day.

For me, doing "the little things" tells someone you love them but also *demonstrates* that you care about them.

In my opinion, that's what it's all about :-)

But to summarize, read the person you're talking to--does he/she seem freaked out by you saying I love you again and again? Or does He/She smile and enjoy it? That's the best test!
