My best friend (girl) and I have known each other since 4th grade and we were extremely close. Then, in middle school I met this other girl and we became best friends too. So after a while both of them became friends and in 8th grade they began to become even closer since they had classes together and the second girl began to go on our bus. Right now I'm a freshmen in high school and the three of us still go on the bus together so towards the end of the school they both joined clubs and now go to club meetings on wednesdays. (I would have joined too but my grades were slacking) and I notice that they planned things over the weekend to go do community service or just hang out at the beach and they NEVER invite me. After school they wait for each other and walk together to the bus. So girl #1 came back today from her country and in the morning we talked on the bus about her trip. We arrived at school and when girl #2 comes walking towards us girl #1 runs towards her hugging her and saying how much she misses her. This made me sad because if that was me I doubt she would go running to me. I'm also jealous because girl #2 keeps hogging her and acts so fake just to seem like she fits in and it's so annoying. Is this okay for me to be jealous and sad?

I have the same problem with my "best friends" in my school. Tell them how you really feel about the whole situation. If they get mad, then they were never true friends to begin with. High school is a huge school with lots and lots of other people to hang out with. Start to hang around different groups of people if your friends get mad. Then maybe you'll find a true friend. But if they dont get mad at you, then you all three can work this out. Haha like the old saying, " Theres plenty of fish in the sea."
