I have a jailbroken iphone that froze and I looked around on the internet and the best option was to restore it. I restored it and now i need to activate it but the message 'Please insert the SIM card that came with your iphone' but I do not have this sim. Is there anyway to solve this problem as I really need to be able to use the phone! Please help!!!!

How did you restore it?

1. If you restore from a previous full backup, it should be activated without an AT&T Sim Card (you still need a real SIM to insert to your phone) because the iphone is still jailbreaked.

2. If you restore from a firmware, then perhaps the jailbreak is gone, so you need an AT&T Sim Card to activate it ( http://24hiphone.com/question-and-answer… ), get it on ebay or some where else. After that, jailbreak you iphone again and it will work with any SIM card.

P/S: if you buy your iphone from other carrier than AT&T then find their SIM card.
