Is that giving him a sign that we are more than friends?? We have been friends for 8 years and I like him and he likes me too (I found out from my other friend) and yesterday after we hung out and I got home and everything I texted him "Had a great time with you today :)" Is that giving him a signal that I like him as more than a friend or is it a simple text saying i had a good time.

I would say it was a signal that you like him more than a friend but boys will be boys and so he it's very possible he took it at face value that you simply had a good time. If you've been friends for 8 years and you both like each other, why don't you just ask him if he likes you and admit you like him too? You have been friends for long enough to stay friends if it doesn't work out xx
