It seems everytime God has some sign to communicate, he drowns a bunch of people in Asia, or kills a flock of crows, or destroys some city through an earthquake, and these are all signs.

I mean if God has something to say to us, why doesn't He just come out and say it?
I think this shows poor communication skills on His part.
Not to mention people who only communicate with others when they are at that boiling point of rage are usually seen by others as unapproachable.

I remember wondering this when I was a kid!

I could never understand why God was supposed to send people to hell for failing to BELIEVE, when God never actually made his presence known! It's one thing to appear AS GOD, and condemn people who reject him, and quite another to make it almost impossible for a thinking person to believe in a specific religion, and then condemn someone who didn't believe on that basis.

Additionally, not only doesn't God speak for himself; but by speaking through intercessors, he leaves it wide open for all the charlatans and posers to appeal to the public on equal footing! Seems God wouldn't want his people to have to pick the REAL messages amidst all the fake ones.

I'm not trying to say "there is no God", but I am saying that we can't believe in any of the messages of MAN, which CLAIM to be "from God".
