I want to serve a mission for the LDS church. I desire nothing else in the world. I have sincerely repented and I want to serve. But in my past I have commited several serious sins, back in a time when I put myself first and not the Lord. I got drunk several times in the past. I had sex with my girlfriend probably 10 times. I did weed a few times.

The drugs were all in high school, the sex was in my first semester of college. I am now in my second semester. I want to serve but I know my bishop will ask me about all of these things, and when I tell him he probably wont let me go even though I have privately repented.

Any RMs out there with any advice? Thank you
