Nokia i would prefer.but again i wanted to have a mobile with andriod technology.

within your range, you can get the following android phones,

samsung galaxy ace with 800mhz processer,278mb of ram,android 2.2.2 froyo 15000rs approx.
OR
HTC wildfire s with 600mhz processer,512mb ram,android 2.3.3 gingerbread.

galaxy ace is definitely one of the best android phones in the midrange segment
it has 800 mhz processor,adreno 200 GPU,278mb of RAM,android 2.2 froyo etc. etc.

however it records videos at 15fps which is awful...you would never want to record videos with it.......
and lookswise it appeare like a cheap plastic imitation of the iphone4..

there are some other better alternatives to it in the market.
one would be the new htc wilfire s which has ram of 512mb,the latest android gingerbread 2.3.3,
the phone has same screen resolution as the galaxy ace and also the same 5mp camera.

though it has a 600mhz processor,the device feels pretty snappy.
and lookswise, the new wildfire is an eyecatcher....
so it is one of the best alternatives to the samsung galaxy ace

definitely my recommendation would be the htc wildfire s
