I don't care about looks, but i'm in grade ten and all the guys my age don't have anything in common with me, or they're just really immature. Also, I don't have any way of meeting older guys. I have never had a boyfriend and i'm 16. I know i don't need one but I want one and it would be nice to have some dating experience so i'm not stupid about it when i go to university. I'm starting to think it's just the guys at my school, because the guys from this other school near us seem really cool but I don't know how to talk to them because it would be weird if I randomly came up to them, plus i'm shy before you get to know me. How can I meet guys, who are mature and are interested in things like poetry, guitar, reading, philosophy are open minded and don't care about popularity or fitting in? Basically, like artsy guys. The oldest i'm willing to go out with is 18.
