Grr, its so annoying. Its like having a little bird constantly on your shoulder, always putting you down and say what a bad friend you are, and that you cant do anything with out messing it up.! Shes so horrible, when were around other people shes so nice and wants to hug me and be like the best person ever...
But then when its just me and her, she turns.
Thing is I cant leave her because all of my friends are her friends, and we've gone through so much together sine year 7, we've been inseparable, im not not kidding. We've had loads of classes together and up until this year when we chose different subjects, and she went off with this girl. who i like but, this other girl keeps giving me looks like 'help me!' looks and it seems as if my supposed to be best friend is drowning her...
We've had really really loooong conversations on facebook and msn and texing and stuff, but its only been recently shes started to be horrible. Like we said we would go into town this weekend, and i didn't answer because i had no texts left. so i sent her a message, as you do, and said that's fine what time, so we discussed this, and she said morning, and im really busy on weekends. so we agreed morning and what happens at like 1 in the morning i get a text saying im going to be asleep then, so im not going.
My friend lives in the middle of no-where... so shes alwasy asking me to come round to her so she isnt bored, but because i have a fairly busy life-style with sports and DofE and stuff i cant always go, so on monday mornings i always get the silent treatment because i couldnt go...
Please help, I relly want to stay friends with her she just seems to have these phases rather a lot like one day she loves me, and we cant be apart from each other, yes were that close(sometimes), then the next shes mouthing off at me.

just ask her if you have done anything wrong cause she hasn't herself. maybe she is having a hard time at home. If she isn't then i dont see why she should be so rude to her. maybe just stay away from her for a while and see how she reacts. if she likes you then she will come back to you and if not just stay away from her. you should have friends that make you confident about yourself not someone that just puts you down. but anyway just ask or find out if there are things thats been bothering her.
