I do not think Jesus is or was a myth - but do think his life has been made into a myth.

Well, as Pontius Pilate is the only person mentioned in the bible who is backed up by actual archaeological evidence, I find it hard to accept the stories about Jesus. He may very well have lived, but I believe that a lot of things were attributed to him afterwards to make the story sound more persuasive.
