I am trying to fill out an application form but it will not insert my text. I have checked the protection and it is set up to be filled out so I'm baffled as to why it wont let me. I am using Adobe X. Please help????

Firstly I need to note you that you are not able to add text to a pdf file on adobe reader X and if your PDF form is an interactive form you can write on it and send the filled one by e-mail.

But if it's a read-only one you may consider to print it off and fill by hand.
