Ok so back when I was in 6th and 7th grade I had a crush on this girl that was a year older than me. I was kind of a loser back in those days and whenever she was around and someone was making fun of me she would defend me and tell them to leave me alone. I dont think she had any particular interest in me, she was just doing a nice thing. I never talked to her though because I was a very shy person, and I never saw her after she left jr. high. So I'm a few days short of being 19 now and I found her on facebook last month. I added her, we talked a little, and I got her phone number. Our conversations however are a little dry seeing as how she doesn't remember me and I'm basically a stranger to her. I want to ask her out but I don't see her in person and in person is the way I typically ask girls out. So I was wondering how should I ask this girl out, should I call her?( I forgot to mention I have never called this girl just texted), text her? or message her on facebook? I would think its better for us to "hang out" first before I officially ask her out on a "date", or should I just straight up as her on a date?
