when i started school I wasn't really confident. but now i am but the guys don't really see me because they think i'm one of the shy ones! They joke around a little and make fun of me because I didn't use to respond! I don't have a mum so I can't ask her for advise and I really want to be a girl a guy would want to date, what can I do??

TO get guys to notice you you have to actually TALK to them and prove that your not just like evey other girl they know. And if they mess with you you've gotta tell them to bug off and stop bothering you. I feel like that to sometimes but you have to not hang around with people that make you nopt express your indivuality and you have to not always go with the flow... for instance if you go to school dressed in your own style then you can get notcied. but also don't strech out of your way to make a guy notice you because I did that once and it only resulted in humiliation.
