I have a question about one of the problems on a homework sheet of mine.

A clothing company makes two kinds of shirts; One long sleeved and one short sleeved.

The Long Sleeved shirt requires 2 hours for cutting the fabric, 1 hour for sewing the shirt, and 2 hours for ironing and finishing touches. This shirt is sold for a profit of 8 dollars.

The Short Sleeved shirt requires 1 hour for cutting the fabric, 3 hours for sewing the shirt, and 2 hours for ironing and finishing touches. This shirt is sold for a profit of 10 dollars.

Each day the clothing company has 120 hours available for cutting, 150 hours available for sewing, and 140 hours for finishing touches.

How many of each shirt should be manufactured each day to maximize profits?
