We've been best friends for 5 years now and he's had a crush on me for a long time.

I know he does because he told me and i told him i like him too but we aren't together.

So he promised today that we would spend Time together to hangout to celebrate our birthday together because his is on the 4th mine is on the 7th but he forgot.. He doesn't seem like he's really interested if he's not trying hard enough. I don't understand why he tells me he likes me but he doesn't put in the effort. What do i do? I like him too but i feel like hes not trying hard enough..

Dear liking is different and loving some is different more over Remembering some ones birthday or forgetting it is no way related with Liking or loving so i doesn't mean that you he is not trying hard enough so these thing all bullshit forget it discuss with him if you are in love with him else forget and be a good friend that's all......
