I can't help with money glitches. If there even are any I wouldn't know.

But Kurt is easier to marry. Because you can get gifts for him easier. In Summer all you have do it grow a bunch of tomatoes and save them in a fridge. Get a Blender and turn those into Tomato Juice. That is a favorite gift of his. Before that you can just give him branches or herbs you find lying around. Blue has harder gifts to get. His favorite gifts are Special Eggs and Special Milk. To get those you need animals with high hearts that are in a very good mood. So even when you do have a lot of hearts with your animals you don't always get Special Items.
