So I recently started dating someone new about a week ago and it's been a while since my ex and I broke up (not a year long). When my new boyfriend and I started going out we were holding hands and my ex saw that and walked away kind of mad or angry I couldn't quite tell, (but earlier that day we were hanging out and playing ((like being weirdos with our mutual friends, we didn't talk but he smiled)) then my new boyfriend asked me out and I said yes not to hurt him and everyone was happy for us) but yeah when he saw us together he seemed quite held back, and not wanting to know about us also everyone said congratulations and he said nothing. My friend asked him "can you (me and my ex) be friends now?" he said "yeah, we should.." so yeah I don't know what he means? what do you think it could be cause now he made me more confused?

Is he jealous or not, or just being friendly or trying to get me away from my boyfriend??

its just awkward to be around an ex period..... but why are you worried, maybe you are the one who still likes him and you are with your new boyfriend as a rebound? good luck.
