The fact that you are asking, let's me know that you are a serious seeker of truth. The fact is Jesus was here in the beginning.

Jesus told his disciples, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to Father except through Me. John 14:6

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but through him the world might be saved through him. John 3:16

This, then, is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people love darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. for everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God. John 3:19-21

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, Let there be light, and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:1-4

The Holy Bible is a book of instructions for us to live by. Most of us can't even live by the "Ten Commandments", which are the most basic commandments in the Bible. Our country was built with the Bible in mind, yet the ACLU would rather eradicate any trace of the Bible in school, work, and the courts. Read your Bible and pray. I will pray for you, also.
