y = x(4)^(-x)
Set both sides by logs:
ln(y) = ln(x) - xln(4)
Then, differentiate implicitly...
(dy/dx)/y = 1/x - ln(4)
dy/dx = y(1/x - ln(4))
dy/dx = x(4)^(-x)(1/x - ln(4)) [Answer]
