My boyfriend just texted me and told me he's going into the military. We live long distance and haven't talked for a week, so it was out of nowhere. He basically said goodbye to me or breaking up with me and won't answer any of my questions. I'm not mad because most of my family is in the military and I worry constantly, but they're serving our country, so I would never say that it's a bad idea. However, I am curious as to why he chose this decision and if he has already has getting ready for base training and just hasn't told me. What can I say, over text, to let him tell me? I asked why he has chosen this but he just said goodbye to me and that was it. What can I text that would want him to talk to me about this?
