f(x)-g(x)

let f(x)=-4x+2 & g(x)=x-6
find f(x)-g(x)

let f(x)=4x-9 & g(x)=-2x-3
find f(x) X g(x) = 2x-3

in each of your problems, f(x) is one function and g(x) is another. You simply perform the operation asked between the two functions. I'll do the first and you should be able to figure out the rest easily.

f(x) = 4x-6 g(x) = -2x-3

f(x) - g(x) = (4x-6) - (-2x-3)
= 4x-6+2x+3
= 6x -3
